1.    God made you in his own image Genesis 1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them.

God also loved you so much that he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to be a sacrifice for your life. John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave  his one and only Son that however believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.    Romans 5:8: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this, while we were still sinners Christ died for us.  

2.    There is a need for all of us to turn away from our lives that exclude a relationship with Jesus Romans 6:23: For the     wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 

3.    We are called to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, to trust him completely and live our lives according to his will. Romans 10:13: For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. 

4.    We are then called to share our faith by confessing publicly that Jesus is Lord of our    lives. Matthew 10:32 Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.  Romans 10:9:  That if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.  

If you are ready, wherever you are, whether in your home or office or maybe in an internet café you can pray the following prayer and receive Jesus into your life this very moment.  Go for it! 

Dear God, I acknowledge that I have lived my life till now without you, I would like to say that I am sorry for doing this.  I now openly, with all my heart, invite and receive Jesus Christ into my life and acknowledge him as Lord and Saviour of my life.  I confess Jesus as Lord and from this moment on I want to live for him and serve him.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
